This one really stayed with me. What touched me most was the shift from hearing judgment in the grandmother's question to finally recognizing the grief beneath it. That kind of reframing doesn't erase the past, but it changes the way we carry it. And your distinction between our intentions and another person's experience is one of the hardest, and most compassionate, truths to learn. Thank you for writing something so honest and deeply human. ❤️
